Editing - Way, way off the mark.
Give all the footage to a sensitive expert story teller and start over. The movements between current times and paste were poorly demarcated. The background music was obvious pap and sap.
All that to say, there is a beautiful movie in all that effort if it could only be re-edited for continuity and an elegant flow.
The way timothée pauses, looks away as if pondering, then clenches his jaw as though he's decided and says and i'll watch is hauntingly sad yet beautiful. This scene was beautiful and their chemistry was loved Laurie and Amy💕.

Saoirse always mentions her BFF Eileen in interviews it's so cute. I love Little Women (both versions. I thought this version did so well in portraying Lauries different chemistries with Jo and Amy. For me, it was easy to want him to be with Amy and still adore Jo. Man, I think this will be my favourite movie of 2020 and its only January. Y'all he is so interested in her, when she looks at him he looks down and smiles, that's an obvious sign of attraction like y'all.

It was lovely to revisit a favourite classic novel that was so beautifully brought to life.
Some may ask do we really need another version of this book? Probably not. But thankfully the stars were aligned when the powers-that-be put their faith in another remake. This is the best adaptation I've seen.
The acting was superb, the characters came to life in the re-telling of a well known & well loved story. I tried not to sob in my seat but failed. I loved every minute of it.

Terra should just leave the group, she's so opinionated and she's always negative. I love the show so much but I'm tired of Terra's big moulth😵🤬🥴. Ill be which ever one ends up with Timothée Chalamet. This will always be my favorite version of Jo and Laurie. Christian Bale will forever be Laurie. Not that I didnt like the new film - theyre very different but this movie is still the ultimate Little Women.

This is a beautiful film, and I highly recommend it, but for those of us who read "Little Women" decades ago and don't vividly remember the storyline Greta Gerwig's new time-traveling screenplay makes the experience more of an occasionally jarring, confusing experience than an enjoyably immersive one. (Update: saw it again a week later and realized the idea works beautifully if you do know the story- I loved the film on second viewing. But the entire cast is very often spectacularly talented and watchable, and the direction is undeniably assured, so all is forgiven.
Cuz i am batman. I love Emma as a person and she's very intelligent in her interviews. But when she's acting beside great young actors like Florence Pugh, and especially Saoirse Ronan, it is clear as day that she is just not the same level. She appears to be the weakest link by quite some way, and stands out for that unfortunately. I can't help but think about what Emma Stone would have been able to bring out in Meg, and would have been a spectacular addition to the incredibly talented cast. The smile on everyones face after she turned around lol Love that everyone wanted to help Jo get her man. I have walked out of fewer than a handful of movies in my entire life. I walked out of one today. Little Women. It's bad as engaging is a bottle of Maalox. While it may quiet the stomach it leaves the lips all chalky white.
